17" Mini Windmill Heller Aller Tail
This 17" mini windmill is made by a Midwestern USA company that has been making these since 1946. Galvanized steel - Red Trim. This little windmill is 17 inches tall and has a 5 inch wheel. The wheel turns on Lubricant impregnated OILON Bearings, the top turns toward the wind on a brass bearing.This is the Heller-Aller (1880s-1990's Ohio) tailed mini windmill. The mini windmill comes in a 15X6X2 inch box and requires assembly - it takes about 2 hours to assemble and is sort of like working with an old Gilbert erector kit only with smaller bolts and nuts. There are complete instructions as well as a full size drawing included. I also include a Free pocket screw driver that is the correct size for the nuts. If after looking at the assembly information you feel that putting one of these together is beyond what you can deal with I can assemble the tower for you. It takes me about 2 hours to assemble one of these and if you want the tower pre assembled for you there will be a 4-5 day delay in shipping. There is now a powder coated steel base for the 17 inch windmills available. The base has rubber feet and is specially made for placing the mini windmills on a shelf or table for indoor display.
